Tally is a social sport-viewing platform where you earn points by watching matches, submitting photo or video proof of your watching, making score predictions, completing league challenges, and voting on other members' submissions. Tally supports multiple league types — including free default leagues and paid custom leagues. It is designed to work across multiple sports and tournaments.
Tally is not a gambling product. No money changes hands between users as part of any game mechanic. Points, standings, and league positions have no monetary value.
It's meant to be fun — play fair.
You sign in with your email via a magic link. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Tally, or the minimum digital consent age in your country if that is higher.
Users under the age of 13 are not permitted to use Tally under any circumstances. Users aged 13 to 15 may only use Tally with the consent and active supervision of a parent or guardian. By registering or operating an account for a user under 16, a parent or guardian confirms they have read and accept these terms on the child's behalf and take responsibility for the child's use of the app.
One person per account. Do not share your account or create multiple accounts.
You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account.
On account deletion, your points, league standings, and submitted proofs are permanently removed from our systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy. League results and leaderboards that included your participation may retain anonymised historical data.
You retain ownership of any photos and videos you upload to Tally.
By uploading content, you grant Tally a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display, and distribute it within the app to other members of your leagues. We will not use your uploaded content in external marketing materials without your separate, explicit consent.
Proof photos and videos must be genuine. Fabricating or manipulating proof undermines the game and may result in account suspension.

We may remove content that violates these terms without notice. Repeated violations will result in account suspension or termination.
Tally does not promote, encourage, or reward the consumption of alcohol. Watching rules that reference pubs or bars reward the social viewing experience and location — not alcohol consumption. No default rule in Tally awards points for consuming alcohol.
Tally is a platform that hosts content created and uploaded by users. We do not review proof submissions before they are posted to your league. Content is shared only within private leagues between members who have chosen to participate in that league.
We operate a notice-and-takedown process. You can report content directly in the app using the report option on any submission, or email us at hello@tallysports.com with details of the content and the reason for your report. We will review every report and act on it within 24 hours — removing any content that violates these terms and suspending or banning the responsible user where appropriate.
We comply with the UK Online Safety Act 2023 and will take appropriate action to address illegal content and content harmful to children when reported to us or when we become aware of it.
We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend any account at our discretion and without prior notice where we believe a violation has occurred.
These are principles, not an exhaustive list. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate the spirit of fair play, even where a specific rule is not listed here.
League admins are solely responsible for the content of any custom rules, forfeit descriptions, challenge descriptions, and league settings they create. Tally operates as a platform and is not responsible for admin-created content. Custom rules, forfeits, or challenges that violate these terms may result in the removal of the league and suspension of the admin account without refund.
During the current early access phase, all leagues are free to create. If we introduce paid league features in future, any charges will be shown in the app before purchase and processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and we will update these terms accordingly.
Points, standings, streaks, and league positions within Tally have no monetary value whatsoever and cannot be exchanged, transferred, redeemed, sold, or used for any commercial purpose. Tally is not a gambling product and no money changes hands between users as part of any game mechanic within the app.
Predictions are locked at kickoff and cannot be changed after the lock time. Points awarded or deducted through prediction outcomes, Double Down activations, VAR Check results, streak calculations, and any other game mechanic are final once applied by the system. Tally does not reverse or manually adjust points except in cases of verified technical error at our sole discretion.
Match results used for prediction scoring are sourced from third-party data providers. In the event of a disputed match result or data error, Tally will make reasonable efforts to correct affected scores but accepts no liability for losses of points or league position arising from third-party data inaccuracies or delays.
Tally uses push notifications to alert you to voting windows, match events, league activity, goal alerts, and points updates. These are service notifications necessary for the core functionality of the app to work correctly.
You can manage notification preferences in your device settings at any time. Disabling notifications may affect your ability to participate in time-sensitive game mechanics such as the voting window.
We will not send marketing or promotional communications without your separate and explicit consent.
In addition to the content restrictions in Section 3, you may not:
Tally does not currently offer in-app purchases; all features are free during early access. If in-app purchases are introduced in future, they will be processed exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, subject to their terms and refund policies. Tally does not store or process payment card details. We will update these terms before any paid features go live.
Tally integrates with third-party services including but not limited to: email delivery providers (used for magic-link sign-in), live match data providers, and push notification services. Your use of these services is also subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, completeness, or conduct of third-party services. Features of Tally that depend on third-party data — including live scores, match results, and prediction auto-resolution — may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable due to factors outside our control.
We will make reasonable efforts to maintain integrations but cannot guarantee the continuity of any feature that depends on a third-party service.
Tally is a private social platform. We do not adjudicate disputes between users regarding voting outcomes, league rules, point calculations, or game results. Voting outcomes are final once the voting window closes. League admins are responsible for resolving disputes within their league.
If you believe you are being targeted, harassed, or treated in a way that violates these terms by other users, you can block them in the app and report them to hello@tallysports.com or via the in-app report option. We aim to review reported conduct and act within 24 hours, taking action where we determine a violation has occurred. We do not guarantee any particular outcome from such a review.
You may share screenshots of your own profile, your league standings, and your personal points for personal use or on social media platforms, provided this does not expose other users' personal information without their consent.
You may not export, scrape, sell, or commercially reproduce league data, other users' proof submissions, personal information, or any platform content without the prior written consent of Tally and the relevant users.
Tally is provided 'as is' and 'as available'. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the app's fitness for any particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or freedom from errors.
We do our best to keep the app running but do not guarantee uptime, availability, or data integrity at any particular time.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, rules, or the app itself at any time with or without notice. We will try to provide reasonable notice of significant changes.
Points, standings, and league data are stored on a best-efforts basis. We recommend that league participants keep their own records of significant results.
Tally is currently in an early access phase. Features may be incomplete, subject to change, or temporarily unavailable. We value feedback during this period and will work to address issues as quickly as possible.
Use of the app during the early access phase is at your own risk. We are not liable for data loss, scoring errors, league disruption, or service interruptions that occur during this phase beyond what is expressly required by applicable law.
Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. You should read it alongside these terms.
In particular you should be aware that:
The Tally name, logo, design, code, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Tally Sport Ltd (registered trade marks pending). You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the app or its content without our prior written permission.
You can delete your account at any time from the app settings. On deletion, your personal data is removed as described in our Privacy Policy. Paid features are non-refundable on voluntary account deletion.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we determine that your use of the app is harmful to other users or to the platform. Where practical we will give you notice before termination. Where we determine an urgent risk exists, we may terminate without notice.
On termination by us for a violation of these terms, no refund will be issued for any paid features.
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in the law, our product, or our business. The date at the top of this document shows when the terms were last updated.
If we make significant changes that affect your rights, we will notify you via the app or by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. For minor or clarifying changes we may update the terms without specific notice.
Continued use of the app after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not accept the updated terms, you must stop using the app and delete your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the app will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of those jurisdictions. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may be entitled to rely on mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
